Dr. Anna Agata Lesniak

Biography :
Dr. Anna Agata Leśniak is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacotherapy and Pharmaceutical Care, Medical University of Warsaw. She holds a PhD in Biotechnology and has served as a senior researcher and lecturer since 2016. Dr. Leśniak is the principal investigator of two National Science Centre (Poland) research grants and a recipient of four Rector’s Awards for Scientific Achievements. Her research focuses on identifying novel molecular mechanisms for pain management, particularly in addressing opioid-induced side effects, as well as investigating the role of the endogenous opioid system in neuropsychiatric and central nervous system disorders.
