Biography :

Dr. Aleksandra Tatarczuch is a Ph.D. student in the Laboratory of Reproductive Physiology and Toxicology at Jagiellonian University, where she has been conducting research since 2023. Her scientific work focuses on the impact of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) on female reproductive health, with particular emphasis on ovarian granulosa cells and mouse oocytes. Her research investigates how environmentally relevant PFAS mixtures affect cellular metabolism, mitochondrial function, DNA integrity, and oocyte maturation, contributing to a better understanding of environmental toxicants and female fertility.
